Where do I go when I arrive?

Service is on Sundays at 10:30am

We encourage you to stop by the hospitality tent at our main entrance when you arrive to meet some of our volunteers, receive a gift for being our guest, and to grab a cup of coffee. If needed, volunteers will be happy to help you check-in your children for nursery and kid’s classes or to simply help you find your way.

What about my kids?

What about my kids?

On Sunday mornings, we offer Kid’s Connection classes for 3-year-olds to 3rd grade, and a nursery for infants to 2-year-olds. We have a secure check-in/check out process as well as a texting system in case you are needed during the service. Our Kid's Connection classes bring a Bible lesson for kids on their level, they are taught worship songs and hymns that reinforce the great truths of the gospel. The care and security of your child is our first priority. Trained volunteers who have been vetted through official background checks provide your child with excellent care and ministry so that you can enjoy the services. Children in 4th grade and older are encouraged to participate in the auditorium worship service.

What if I have an infant?

You are welcome to check your infant into our nursery during any service, where our trained, background-checked volunteers will lovingly care for your child. However, we also provide a comfortable Mother’s Room for moms who may need to feed their little ones. This space is equipped with cozy chairs for nursing, nursing covers, and a changing table. If you’d like to use the Mother’s Room, simply ask one of our volunteers to guide you—it’s located in the Kids Connection wing beside the nurseries.

What is the service like?

What is the service like?

At the center of our worship gathering is the word of God. We read the Bible, pray the Bible, sing the Bible, and teach the Bible. We do not gather to hear what a man has to say. We gather to hear what God has to say. You can find a sampling of songs that we sing on our Spotify playlist, and a sampling of sermons from our pulpit on our YouTube page. Our pastors preach from the English Standard Version (ESV), and if you don’t have a Bible we’d love to give you one. You’ll find a wide range of attire at Laurel, from shorts to dresses to sports coats. Wear what is most comfortable for you. Most weeks our services are approximately 80 minutes in length, and they are always designed to glorify God and exalt his gospel from beginning to end.

Come again!

Come again!

It’s impossible to know a church by just coming once. So we always encourage people to come for several weeks and if at the end of that, Laurel isn’t what you’re looking for, then we would love to help you find a different local church in the area.
