God has given to us the church, a place where we can belong to the body of Christ, grow in the gospel of Christ, and serve the mission of Christ. Our membership process begins by registering for and attending the Next Steps Luncheon. This luncheon, held with a selection of our staff pastors, elders, and their families, is designed to give you an introduction to Laurel Baptist Church, from our gospel distinction to our ministry philosophy.

At the luncheon, you will receive a booklet of church membership documents with items like our constitution. You will then be invited to return the membership application at your convenience, which includes providing a written testimony of your faith in Christ and your understanding of the gospel. An elder will then meet with you to discuss your testimony of faith, baptism, and any questions you might have about the church. Upon affirmation of membership, we will then introduce you to our church family as a new member of Laurel Baptist Church.
